DAVID PAWLACZYK: Development Manager David Pawlaczyk, development manager with Moceri Companies, joined the firm in 1997 after a 33-year stint with Giffels Webster Engineers in Rochester Hills, where he had served as a principal. He became registered as a land surveyor in Michigan in 1969, in Arizona in 1980 and in Florida in 1994. He joined Moceri Companies as an in-house engineer, managing the Stonewater development in Northville. His responsibilities included soliciting bids, awarding contracts, managing construction, obtaining government approvals, soliciting needed easements and resolving a dispute with an adjoining development over lake elevations. Pawlaczyk also managed Silver Creek, a 566-unit joint venture project, as well as the 330-unit Hartford condominium project and Mill River. Mill River is a 500-home project including a 150-unit assisted living center, an early learning/daycare center and professional office space. Pawlaczyk has worked on many facets of the development process, including due diligence, and collaborates with consultants, contractors, attorneys and other professionals. Most of his experience has been in site development.  |
